Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK)

Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK) was founded in Pune in 1979, to offer care and protection to vulnerable orphan, and destitute children. Our main goal is to provide these children permanent, stable and secure homes. We also provide education and other related services to children and families in need, irrespective of caste, creed, community or religion.

BSSK is a nonpolitical, nonprofit making organization registered under:

  • The Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950
  • The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 [2 of 2016] (JJ ACT)
  • Recognized by the Women and Child Department (WCD), Government of Maharashtra as a Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA)
  • BSSK also works in Aurangabad, Chiplun (1995) and Sangli (1997).
